July 30th
Las Vegas,NV-
Mob Edges Hurricanes for Championship!!
MOB of Miami,Fl won the Let it Fly  4Man nationals this past weekend by narrowly defeating the Flagmag Hurricanes 13-12 to become the eighth team to hold the honor. No team has repeated as champions. The Hurricanes however won it in 1996. The MOB started the scoring when QB-Richard Obara connected with Albert Leon on a 15 yard post pass, the extrapoint to Leon was good and MOB took a 7-0 lead. The hurricanes struck back on a 10 yard pass from Manzella to Sloan, the extra point failed and MOB lead 7-6. With under two minutes remaining in the game MOB's Derek(Tiger) Tunes intercepted a pass. On the next play Dwaine Neal took a handoff and raced 35 yards to paydirt for a commanding 13-6 lead. With just under a minute remaining Manzella brought his team down to the MOB 15 yardline where on the last play of the game Scott Devine caught  a TD pass to make the score 13-12. The Hurricanes elected to go for two on the conversion for the win.. The conversion pass was incomplete to  Devine and MOB held on for their  first Let It Fly National victory.
