The Pensacola Regional College Flag Football Championships presented by NCAA Football brought to Pensacola, Florida 48 teams representing 8 different states. Thirty men's teams, twelve women's teams, and six co-rec teams competed for the coveted title of Pensacola Regional Flag Football Champions.
We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the 32 different institutions that sent teams to participate, the 16 institutions that brought officials, and the staff who assisted with the tournament on various committees from 13 different institutions.      Twenty seven teams competed in the first College regional 7man screen tournament held at Cornell University. In the Mesn division Owtkastm of Akron,OH defeated Brothers of Colgate 25-0 in the championship game. In the semi's Owkast defeated BTP from the Univ. of Maine 48-12 and Brothers won over the Bucks of Maryland 39-38. In the quarters Owktcast defeated Franklin Pierce College 33 -21;BTP defeated Sigmu Nu of Cornell 20-13;Bucks defeated GDX of Dartmouth 26-6; and Brothers defeated the A -Team of URI 34-7. In the CoRec Championship Six & Chic of the College of NJ  won over UNH 25-21, and in the semis Six & Chix defeated Iron Horse Express of Towson 18-16 and UNH defeated BU  Berrmans of Cornell 43-0.

In only its second year hosting a regional , Baylor University has aquired a great reputation for a well organized tournament which has attributed to the number of teams participating in its tournament., Over 40 colleges and 10 states were represented at the  tournament.
 In the Mens Championship, Home town favorite  EX defeated SOA of LSU 14-0, In the Womens Title game the Sam Austin’s Vixens beat Baylors No Limits 12-7 and in the CoRec Championship OLLU Blue Beat Rice’s "Sugar & Spice" 40-15

No one expected temperatures in the 30's for game time, but the hot nights on Bourbon street made up for the cold weather.
All four defending champs repeated as  champs once again. In the women's division the Aguilas Blancas of Mexico City,MX won for the fourth consecutive year by beating   the Dream team of Southern 19-7. In the Mens Division the Championship game was a repeat  of last years with The Governors of Nunez C.C defeating the Air Daddies of Houston 46-20.
In CoRec Sanfu easily won over LA Monroe 36-7, and in the Open the Hitmen squeaked out a win by defeating
NWA 19-12.
